A Teaching Companion on the Way!

The Visual-Spatial Classroom: An Approach that Engages Every Learner
by Alexandra Shires Golon

Brain research has shown that learning occurs only when the right hemisphere is activated and engaged - no matter what the student's learning style preference! By incorporating color, humor, hands-on activities, metaphor, music, maps, graphs, timelines and other strategies that appeal to the right hemisphere, teachers can create classrooms that reach every learner!
